My first time at this lovely little cinema. Buses stop just outside for access. Nicely laid out bar/cafe on the ground floor. Friendly staff on entry. Stairs or lift to upper floors and further bars. Beautifully comfy seats with ability to order food and drinks from your seat. Good clean toilets. Great views from the upper floors.

Curzon has a great look and feel, more character than the usual cinemas. Option to get larger “sofa” type seats for 2 people. Food and drink on both levels even has a balcony on the warmer days upstairs.

Very chilled out and relaxed cinema, friendly and polite staff. Comfortable seats, good screens. I love going to Curzon and they offer a really good selection of films. Definitely the best cinema in Colchester by a long shot.

Brilliant service. Went for a baby showing, not only did we have the cinema to ourselves but the team asked as we were the only ones if we wanted the lights dimmed or the sound quieter to our preference. Drinks and food all brought to us.
